Flea and Tick Control
Fleas and ticks are a concern in Cicero, Fayetteville, and Central New York in general. Fortunately, there is a solution we can provide to you.
Talk about killing 2 pests with 1 stone!

How We Control Fleas & Ticks
Our standard flea and tick control services include a series of tick sprays between May and August.
The 1st application is a whole-property spray, including the lawn.
The following applications concentrate on:
- Ornamental shrubs
- Tree line foliage
- Perimeter areas
- Areas around swing sets and playgrounds

Quick Tick Facts
Ticks are more like spiders and scorpions than insects even though they are an insect.
All ticks have a 2-year life cycle and only need to feed 2 times per year.
Ticks tend to be more active between May and August.
Quick Flea Facts
Fleas do in fact feed on blood just like ticks.
The best way to reduce the chances of having a flea problem is to keep your lawn free of garbage/yard waste and pet dropping. Indoors you should clean and vacuum regularly.
A fun fact about fleas is they can jump 150 times their height! Now, that is impressive but they still have got to go!

New York’s Tick Problem
The Northeast has the highest tick population per capita in the United States and the highest incidence of Lyme disease.
The 2 most common tick varieties found in New York State are the Dog Tick (Dermacentor Variabilis) and the Deer Tick (Ixodes Scapularis). The Deer Tick (or Blacklegged Tick) is the variety that carries Lyme disease.

Is Flea or Tick Control Toxic?
We use EPA-Approved products in much lower concentrations than many household pesticides. For example, most tick-control medications used on dogs are 700% stronger than what our technicians spray in your yard.
Premier Mosquito Services can prevent these party crashers without spoiling the fun.
